Unfortunately, the rates rose gradually up to 3.555 in 2015. A similar trend is visible for Central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSI) and Surgical Site Infection from abdominal hysterectomy (SSI: Hysterectomy). However, there is a gradual decline in the Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTI) rates, which is encouraging since the infection rates should be as low as possible.
